I recently dined at this Mexican restaurant and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The standout for me was the chicken burrito, which I would give 5 stars all on its own. The flavors were fantastic, with tender and perfectly seasoned chicken, the rice was soft and had a lovely authentic Spanish rice flavor, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a delectable sauce - the green sauce. The portion size was reasonable. They offer plenty of vegan options as well. The service was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Beautiful outdoor dining and a clean bar to try all sorts of Tequila and Mezcal. I can't wait to return and savor that amazing chicken burrito again! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ However, I did order some queso on the side which I was charged $4 for a cup, felt it was a bit pricey. Also, parking is kind of hard to get.

Just went here for my birthday and it was a lovely atmosphere with great food! Our waitress was also so kind and accommodating to all of us. Can't wait to come back! I already miss my enchiladas.

Came here for an intimate birthday celebration with my cousin, and it was perfect. I really enjoyed our waitress. She was top notch. 👌🏿

Diego’s Cantina is the best place to go in St. Louis for Tacos! The atmosphere is filled with authentic Mexican art on the walls! Right next to Diego’s is Frieda’s, the Vegan equivalent to Diego’s. They have outdoor and indoor dining, which are both wonderful. Our server was very friendly, and the music was amazing.

Food was great. It was very busy when we went for dinner but the server was very nice. Worth the experience. Beautiful interior, eclectic in nature. Large variety of mixed drinks.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was how I hadn't discovered it sooner. The food was fresh and was prepared very well. The staff were very welcoming and treated you like family, which contributed to such an AMAZING atmosphere. It's a great dining experience overall.

We've ordered take out from here a few times, and the vegan menu is really good. We've had the enchiladas, a few different types of tacos, the fajita bowl, and the vegan brownie. All delicious and the staff are nice and friendly too.

I was stoked when I saw there was a vegan menu. Diego's has a great atmosphere, friendly service, and a great drink selection. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely return!
